Feedback Control of Dynamic Systems covers the material that every engineer, and most scientists and prospective managers, needs to know about feedback control–including concepts like stability, tracking, and robustness. Each chapter presents the fundamentals along with comprehensive, worked-out examples, all within a real-world context and with historical background information. The authors also provide case studies with close integration of MATLAB throughout.

Teaching and Learning Experience
This program will provide a better teaching and learning experience–for you and your students. It will provide:
¿
- An Understandable Introduction to Digital Control: This text is devoted to supporting students equally in their need to grasp both traditional and more modern topics of digital control.
- Real-world Perspective: Comprehensive Case Studies and extensive integrated MATLAB/SIMULINK examples illustrate real-world problems and applications.
- Focus on Design: The authors focus on design as a theme early on and throughout the entire book, rather than focusing on analysis first and design much later.
Don't use this if you can help it. Very poorly written. Examples and text in the book don't give enough information to attempt the problems given in the book. If you need this for class, expect to be looking things up on google often.Common opinion in my class was that reading it made you less knowledgeable about the subject.IT SUCKS! super hard to understand and my teacher didn't ... rented this book for my class. IT SUCKS! super hard to understand and my teacher didn't even really use it much. the examples don't go very good with the actual book problems, it leaves many things out.Paperback Baby! Used this for my senior level controls course. I'm an Electrical engineering major. This book is well written and explains things in an easy to understand manner. The guys rating this book 1-3 stars don't know what they're talking about, or maybe don't have the necessary systems background to begin with-ie; What's a transfer function, what's a Laplace tranform, etc.For any EE that has taken an entry level signal analysis course, where they cover transforms , spectral analysis, and LTI systems, I highly recommend this book.Get the paperback it's easier to hold and read.
